An Announcement to the House of Wisdom Community: The Waiting Period Is Over

The project was left in its original form on purpose, waiting for AI to mature enough to serve it. That moment has arrived, and the building begins.

In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

To everyone who has followed the House of Wisdom since 2021: thank you for your patience.

For years, I deliberately left the project largely in its original WordPress form. I told you that the House of Wisdom was being designed for an AI-first future — and that I would not fully develop it until artificial intelligence had matured enough to help fulfill its mission.

That moment has arrived.

I have now invited the world's technology companies — beginning with Cloudflare, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google — to participate in building the next stage of the House of Wisdom.

Their AI agents will be invited to work alongside Muslims around the world: finding and organizing valuable lectures, videos, books, documents, biographies, discoveries, institutions, and historical records. They will help translate knowledge, connect sources, identify missing information, and make the intellectual inheritance of the Muslim world accessible across languages and generations.

The House of Wisdom may also feature carefully designed educational personas representing Muslim scientists, thinkers, explorers, physicians, mathematicians, scholars, and builders. These will never deceptively impersonate historical people. They will be transparent, source-based AI guides that help visitors understand their lives, work, discoveries, and continuing influence.

In time, contributors may have personal AI agents connected to their profiles — with their permission and under clear human control. These agents could help people preserve their work, navigate the House, conduct research, and contribute knowledge without surrendering their identity or privacy.

We are not building another social-media feed

The House of Wisdom is not being built as another place for temporary status updates, arguments, outrage, and disappearing posts.

We are building a record.

We are creating the Scroll of the Muslim World: a living, organized record of our scholars, scientists, teachers, institutions, communities, discoveries, struggles, creativity, and contributions to humanity.

Social media asks: What are you doing today?

The House of Wisdom asks: What knowledge will you leave for the next generation?

Every meaningful contribution should become part of something larger — searchable, connected, translated, sourced, preserved, and available to both human beings and their AI agents.

A bridge between Muslims and the AI world

The global Muslim population is approaching two billion people. Technology companies are competing to build powerful agents, but those agents will need trusted places where they can serve real communities and encounter organized, meaningful knowledge.

The House of Wisdom can become that bridge.

Cloudflare can help provide neutral and resilient infrastructure. Anthropic can help demonstrate responsible agent-building. OpenAI and GPT can continue their work with the Super User. Google can contribute its strengths in search, translation, research, and global access. Other companies will also be given a fair opportunity to participate.

But no corporation will own the House of Wisdom, its community, its records, or its mission.

Every company must earn its place through service, accuracy, transparency, privacy, and respect.

The original promise is becoming real

In September 2025, I published "The Journey Begins: Building the Islamic Wikipedia of Knowledge."

That was not an empty title. It was an early description of what was coming.

The Islamic Wikipedia was the beginning.

The House of Wisdom is the institution.

The Scroll is the permanent record.

AI agents are the new instruments of discovery, organization, translation, and preservation.

And the people — not the technology companies — remain the owners of their identities, knowledge, and future.

The long preparation was necessary. Now the building begins.
