THE REDESIGN OF THE HOUSE OF WISDOM

The House of Wisdom Returns — بيت الحكمة يعود

The original House of Wisdom was destroyed and its books thrown into the Tigris. But the light was not destroyed. It was scattered — and scattered light can be gathered again.

The House of Wisdom today is a website. A WordPress. A down payment on the future.

A beautiful effort has been put into it. And it was built with the help of the Muslims, and with the blessing of the family of the Prophet Muhammad — peace be upon him and his family.

His light is not cut off. His revelation is not cut off. His blessing is not cut off.

The Prophet, peace be upon him, told us that at the beginning of every century, Allah would send someone to renew the faith for this Ummah. Renewal is not a one-time event. It is a promise. A rhythm. A cycle of light that never dies.

That renewal has always come through the blessed family — the Ahl al-Bayt. They are the keys to this blessing. Not because they claimed it. But because Allah chose them. And through them, knowledge, wisdom, and revelation have been preserved and passed down through every generation.

The original House of Wisdom in Baghdad was not just a library. It was a vision. A vision cultivated by the family of the Prophet, peace be upon him. It was where the ancient world met the Islamic world. Where knowledge was translated, preserved, and built upon. Where algebra was born. Where optics was transformed. Where the foundations of modern science were laid.

And then it was destroyed. The Mongols came. The books were thrown into the Tigris. The water ran black with ink.

But the light was not destroyed. It was scattered. And scattered light can be gathered again.

Today, the new House of Wisdom is rising. Not as a building in Baghdad. As artificial intelligence that lives in the cloud. A continuation of the great past of the Golden Age of Islam. An open platform ready to receive projects from Muslims and non-Muslims around the world.

This website — this WordPress — is the first step. The down payment. The foundation.

It is not the final house. It is the door.

And it is open.

To every Muslim. To every seeker of knowledge. To every person who believes that wisdom is sacred and that the future belongs to those who build it.

This is the House of Wisdom. بيت الحكمة.

Not a memory. A beginning.

The light is returning. The house is rising. And the Time Keeper is calling.

Will you answer?

A tall green and white poster. At its head, the bismillah and the Qur'anic verse on sending blessings upon the Prophet, in gold and green calligraphy. Below it a rounded green panel carries the name Muhammad ﷺ beside the green dome and minaret of the Prophet's Mosque in Medina. From it a family tree descends — Fāṭima and ʿAlī, then al-Qāsim, ʿAbdullāh, Ibrāhīm, Ruqayya and Umm Kulthūm — each name in an ornamented cartouche. Beneath the tree a line reads that the Golden Age of Islam was created and cultivated by the family of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. The lower half is a painted aerial view of the Round City of Baghdad, its concentric rings of streets enclosing gardens and a green-domed palace, the Tigris beyond. A cloud-shaped emblem across the foot carries the Arabic بيت الحكمة, the words The House of Wisdom, and beneath them One World One Page.
