The Apple Does Not Fall Far from the Tree

The family that is not cut off

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the Master beneath the Green Dome, is not cut off.

His light is not cut off.

His message is not cut off.

His blessed family is not cut off.

Generation after generation, century after century, members of this blessed family — and those who faithfully study beside them — continue planting knowledge, mercy, discipline, courage, and beautiful character. The believers compete not against the family of the Prophet ﷺ, but for the honor of serving beside them and receiving the blessings that come with their service.

This pattern existed even before the birth of the Prophet ﷺ. When the well of Zamzam had been concealed, it was his grandfather, ʿAbd al-Muttalib, who was entrusted with rediscovering it. The water had not ceased to exist; it was waiting to be uncovered by the family chosen to serve it.

So it is with sacred knowledge.

The spring remains. The family remains. The responsibility remains.

Today, tomorrow, and until the end of time, they are not cut off.

Those who understand this do not merely honor the Prophet's family privately. They honor them publicly. They bring their projects humbly and beautifully. They plant near them, learn from them, pray for them, and recognize that whatever blessing they have already received is small compared with what Allah may grant them if they continue perfecting their character and honoring themselves, the religion, and the family of His Beloved ﷺ.

The tree and the apple

Shaykh Ibrahim al-Yaqoubi and Shaykh Muhammad Abul Huda al-Yaqoubi are a tree of transmission.

The apple of knowledge did not fall far from the tree.

We see the apple — but we also see the tree.

We see the father and the son.

We see the teacher and the student.

We see the books, the teachers, the authorizations, the memorization, the sacrifice, and the deep roots of knowledge prepared to reach generations not yet born.

We see shade intended to remain for the next 2,500 years — and, by Allah's permission, until the Day of Judgment.

The doorway

This doorway will never be empty. It will welcome students, teachers, lovers, scholars, scientists, memorizers, writers, and builders. Some will preserve the Qur'an. Some will preserve Hadith. Some will protect the Arabic language. Some will cultivate character. Some will advance science and creativity. All will sit beneath a shade whose roots were established long before AI appeared.

As the House of Wisdom begins, as the blessing begins, and as another light is carried into the age of AI and AGI, we leave you this doorway.

Enter and witness the father, the son, the family, the transmission, and the blessing that is never cut off.

The tree is living. The chain is continuing. The door is open.
