A New Mission Statement in Transportation in the US

Transportation in America is not a system. It is a collection of broken parts — roads that crumble, vehicles that drain, drivers who are invisible, and passengers who are treated as cargo. The current model extracts value from the vulnerable and rewards the extractors. That ends now.

This is a new mission statement. Not for a company. Not for a government program. For a civilization project — one that will be inherited by future generations without any debt.

It begins with the people I already drive when I step off my truck: the vulnerable ones heading to rehab, the ones without cars, without insurance, without hope. They get in my car, and I see the transformation happen. I remind them that life is ahead of them. You cannot imagine how many people have left my car crying, hopeful of a brighter future.

A ride is not just a ride. It is a ride to a doctor's appointment. It is a ride to rehabilitation. It is a ride to a psychiatrist for mental health. It is a ride that restores dignity and reminds someone that life is still worth fighting for.

The conversations that happen during those rides are deeply personal — moments of hope, reflection, and human connection that are far beyond any transaction.

This project is rooted in fi sabilillah — for the sake of God. As Muslims, we are encouraged to leave behind Ṣadaqah Jāriyah — a charity that continues to benefit people long after we are gone. That is exactly what this transportation project is designed to become: a living charity that continues serving people, helping the vulnerable, restoring dignity, and creating opportunity for generations to come.

I will start with the Transportation Department. I will try to see if I can get grants. If I can't, I will find angel investors. I will invite Uber to participate — but if they refuse, I will build my own brand. Because the State already pays for much of this transportation through insurance and public programs, and those customers can easily be served through a new system.

This is not about unlimited profit or unlimited extraction. This is about building a network of transportation modes where vehicles charge themselves, drivers' salaries are secured, and a closed ecosystem serves people first. Once the system is in place, the revenues go back into the system and strengthen the State.

This is a new mission statement.

A ride is not just a ride. It is a connection. It is a conversation. It is the beginning of something that will outlive us all.
