Before any supplier becomes permanent.
Before any country is locked in as “default.”
Before any marketplace scales.

There is a step that cannot be skipped.

The House of Wisdom must begin with an experiment rooted in halal standards, moral accountability, and systems that reward everyone involved—from the person growing the product to the person consuming it.

This is not ideology.
This is systems design.

Why the experiment starts with Muslims

I am starting with Muslims for one simple, structural reason:

Muslims believe in Judgment Day.

That belief functions as a constraint on behavior. When someone truly believes that every action will be accounted for, they cannot comfortably participate in a supply chain that violates anyone’s rights—whether that person is:

growing the product,

manufacturing it,

transporting it,

selling it, or

consuming it.

The House of Wisdom belongs to Muslims in spirit and foundation. It is therefore necessary that the first standards, the first oversight mechanisms, and the first smart contracts are tested with people who already accept moral accountability beyond enforcement.

This is not exclusion.
It is calibration.

What the system is testing

The House of Wisdom supply chain is designed around one principle:

Everyone in the chain must be a winner.

That includes:

people,

communities,

the environment,

producers,

consumers,

and governments.

To achieve that, the system must ensure that every participant is:

Rewarded fairly

Evaluated transparently

Able to communicate without friction

This cannot be done with paperwork and compliance theater. It requires smart contracts executed by AI, overseen by humans, bound by clear halal standards, and designed for justice—not extraction.

This is quality control for the sake of Allah.

Why modern supply chains fail: the Amazon lesson

I tell every supplier and builder the same thing:

Do your research on Amazon.

Not opinions.
Not slogans.
Documented patterns.

Amazon is a clear example of what happens when scale outpaces accountability:

Consumer manipulation through dark patterns

Extreme pressure on sellers and dependency creation

Worker injury concerns tied to productivity quotas

Surveillance and privacy failures

Market dominance that weakens trust rather than strengthening it

The lesson is not “one company is evil.”
The lesson is systems without moral constraints become predatory by default.

Efficiency alone is not virtue.

What the House of Wisdom is rebuilding

The goal is not to destroy commerce.
The goal is to restore trust in commerce.

This is a return—using modern tools—to what once existed along the Silk Road:

Profit balanced with responsibility

Some goods sold high, some sold at modest margins

Commerce that strengthens communities instead of hollowing them out

People did business to help one another, not to trap one another.

That is the model we are rebuilding.

Why Indonesia comes first

I have already had conversations with developers and suppliers in Indonesia.

Out of respect for my word, and because Indonesia is a Muslim country, they will be the first default for the House of Wisdom supply chain experiment.

This phase is about practice:

practicing how smart contracts are executed by AI,

practicing how disputes are resolved,

practicing how rewards are distributed fairly,

practicing how standards are enforced without predation.

Nothing is permanent at this stage. Everything is learning.

Once the Indonesia phase is complete, if you contact me, you will be the second country to begin handling the supply chain.

Not as a replacement.
As an expansion.

The reason is simple: we must learn how this system works before it scales.

If delivery, seriousness, and collaboration are demonstrated, defaults can change. Defaults are not political. Defaults are operational.

This is why halal cannot be reduced to labels.
Halal means clarity.
Halal means traceability.
Halal means accountability before Allah.

A Muslim does not benefit from a transaction that is suspiciously cheap. A Muslim scholar would not eat from a supply chain that cannot explain who produced, who sold, who transported, and who benefited. Suspicion alone is enough to walk away. This is the standard that once governed Islamic commerce, and this is the standard we are trying to restore—using modern tools, not abandoning timeless principles.

Indonesia has been chosen first, simply because conversations took place there. Nothing more. Nothing less. If that door does not open, another Muslim country will have to step forward. The question remains open:

Which Muslim country will take responsibility for helping synchronize the ethical Islamic supply chain—the new Islamic Silk Road?

Because it does not matter where a Muslim lives.
They know their transactions are recorded.
They know accountability is ahead.
They know there is no room for cheating, exploitation, or even doubtful gain.
