رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

This is the only command in the Qur’an where the Prophet ﷺ was instructed to ask for more of something —
not wealth,

not armies,
not prestige,
but knowledge.

It is given continuously by the One who never stops giving.
And only the hearts that value it above titles, money, rank, and position are worthy of receiving it.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The scholars are the inheritors of the prophets.”

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ

May blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad,
upon his noble family,
upon his luminous companions,
and upon all who follow his path with sincerity.

He is the fountain from which every river of knowledge flows.
