ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۙ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَأُو۟لُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ قَآئِمَۢا بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ ۚ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ١٨

إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمُ ۗ وَمَا ٱخۡتَلَفَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعِلۡمُ بَغۡيَۢا بَيۡنَهُمۡ ۗ وَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ ١٩

"Allah Himself bears witness that there is no god but Him—as do the angels and those who have knowledge—standing firm in justice. There is no god but Him, the Almighty, the Wise. Indeed, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture did not differ except out of arrogance, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the signs of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in taking account."

فَإِنۡ حَآجُّوكَ فَقُلۡ أَسۡلَمۡتُ وَجۡهِيَ لِلَّهِ وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَنِۗ وَقُل لِّلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ ءَأَسۡلَمۡتُمۡۚ فَإِنۡ أَسۡلَمُواْ فَقَدِ ٱهۡتَدَواْۖ وَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَٰغُۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ ٢٠

"So if they argue with you, say, ‘I have submitted my whole self to Allah, and so have those who follow me.’ And say to those who were given the Scripture and to the unlettered: ‘Have you submitted?’ If they submit, they will be rightly guided, but if they turn away, then your duty is only to convey the message. And Allah is All-Seeing of His servants."

3. The Ultimate Authority of Allah (3:26-27)

قُلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ مَٰلِكَ ٱلۡمُلۡكِ تُؤۡتِي ٱلۡمُلۡكَ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتَنزِعُ ٱلۡمُلۡكَ مِمَّن تَشَآءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَآءُ ۖ بِيَدِكَ ٱلۡخَيۡرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ ٢٦

"Say: O Allah, Owner of sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will, and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will, and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is all goodness. Indeed, You have power over all things."

قُلۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تُحِبُّونَ ٱللَّهَ فَٱتَّبِعُونِي يُحۡبِبۡكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ ذُنُوبَكُمۡ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ ٣١
