Politics / Superuser Vote
WELCOME TO THE FUTURE, TEXAS.
WHO WILL BE YOUR NEXT GOVERNOR?
Omar — Abdul-Jabbar ibn Yusuf · October 8, 2026 · 3 min read

One man. One ballot. An idea that could change how ordinary people examine political power in the world of AI. I began with my California ballot. Now we are moving to Texas, bringing the Superuser Voting Report Card to everyone asking to govern this great state.
We have some incredible candidates. Some have an opportunity to change their grade. Others are doing just fine in my initial assessment. These are my provisional personal judgments, and there is room for the record to change. Every candidate can answer. Every voter can disagree.
THE CANDIDATES WILL HAVE REPORT CARDS.
THE PEOPLE WILL HOLD THE PEN.
AI can help create your campaign picture, build your website, explain your proposals, and introduce you to the world. AI can help you run your campaign, even when you have very little money. It can help an unknown candidate become a serious contender for governor.
But the people’s votes make you governor. Humans must remain in charge.
That is the future I am building: human-owned AI systems that give ordinary people the tools to participate. The power should remain with the humans who design and use these systems. Tech companies should respect that authority, and the public should be able to see how the system works.
TEXAS, YOU HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART.
Texas gave America Lyndon Johnson. It also gave us one of my favorite politicians, Charlie Wilson, whose story became Charlie Wilson’s War. I would love to visit the LBJ Library, learn more, and have some good conversations.
Remember, I am just a truck driver and a creative person. I have driven all over Texas—through the cities, past the small towns, and across those long highways. Now I am bringing you ideas, a report card, and an invitation to help shape the future.
And to the people of the Lord, I send my love and respect. I am a man of the Lord. I want my work to reflect honesty, service, creativity, and responsibility. I want to get things done and leave something useful behind.
SEVEN CANDIDATES. THREE SCORES. THE HUMAN DECIDES.
Greg Abbott · Gina Hinojosa · Pat Dixon · Edward Earl Giles · Jenn Mack · Jinghpaw Majoishingra · Mike Miller
All seven belong in this record. Campaign size, party label, and television visibility will not decide who gets included. I have written something for the candidates and for every Texan deciding whom to trust.
THE SUPERUSER PROVISIONAL SCORE
My assessment, with its reasoning made clear and room for correction.
THE VOTER SCORE
Your judgment. Your priorities. Your decision. Read the evidence and give your own grade.
THE CANDIDATE SELF-SCORE
The candidate’s opportunity to answer, provide evidence, correct mistakes, and explain the grade they believe they deserve.
A SPECIAL MESSAGE TO THE GOVERNOR AND EVERY CANDIDATE
I have also written a personal message to Greg Abbott, Gina Hinojosa, and every other candidate in this race. There are grades, encouragement, challenges, and an invitation to talk. Read what I have written for all of you.
Whoever wins, congratulations. Whoever loses, we have work to do.
American politics is being redesigned. I want AI to help people understand power, question it, and participate in it. The human being holding the ballot must remain responsible for the final decision.
AI RESEARCHES.
THE PUBLIC GRADES.
THE CANDIDATE ANSWERS.
THE HUMAN DECIDES.
