Products. Wholesale. Retail. Consumers. Purchases. Receipts. Coupons and offers. Feedback. Value. Transactions.\n\nNow put AI between those pieces — but put it there for the individual, with the individual's knowledge and permission.\n\nThat is where things become interesting.\n\n## Stage one: the individual gets a commercial AI\n\nImagine your own private commercial agent.\n\nNot an invisible advertising profile somebody else built about you.\n\n**Your agent.**\n\nYou decide its settings. You decide what information it can use. You decide what categories matter. You decide what you never want advertised to you.\n\nFor a Muslim, those settings could include halal requirements. Another person could have completely different settings.\n\nThe agent could understand the products you voluntarily connect to it. Your receipts. Products you actually purchased. Brands you interact with. Offers you accepted. Things you rejected. Feedback you chose to give. Things you want to buy next. Businesses you trust. Businesses you do not want.\n\nAnd the important word is:\n\n**CONSENT.**\n\nThe information is not secretly collected to build a shadow version of you for somebody else's advertising machine.\n\nThe intelligence works on your behalf.\n\nThat reverses the relationship.\n\n## The old model watched the person\n\nThe new model can ask the person.\n\nThat is a profound difference.\n\nInstead of:\n\n> We followed you around the internet and calculated that you might want running shoes.\n\nyour agent could say:\n\n> You told me you need running shoes. Here are five qualifying offers from brands willing to compete for your business.\n\nThink about how much waste disappears.\n\nThe advertiser no longer has to scream at a million people hoping ten thousand might care.\n\nThe customer no longer has to surrender privacy simply to discover an offer.\n\nThe AI can begin matching real demand with real supply.\n\nThat is a different advertising market.\n\n## And the individual should have settings\n\nThis is one of the things I believe strongly.\n\nThe future consumer should have an advertising control panel.\n\nSomething simple.\n\n**YES. NO. ASK ME.**\n\nThat is essentially the same GREEN / YELLOW / RED logic we started building for my website.\n\nFor me as a Muslim:\n\nAlcohol? No. Gambling? No. Interest-based lending? No. Useful technology? Possibly yes. Books? Yes. Something ambiguous? Ask me.\n\nNow imagine that principle applied by millions of individuals.\n\nThe advertiser does not have to guess the standard.\n\nThe standard is machine-readable.\n\nThat is not only better ethics. It can become better market information.\n\n## The physical world and the online world now connect\n\nThis is why BCS matters so much to this idea.\n\nAdvertising has traditionally struggled to connect the message to what actually happened afterward.\n\nBut imagine an AI ecosystem where, with permission:\n\n> Advertisement → Product → Store → Purchase → Receipt → Experience → Feedback → Future recommendation\n\nThat creates a much more meaningful economic picture.\n\nNot because some corporation secretly watched everything. Because the customer deliberately allowed their own system to participate.\n\nNow we can begin asking completely different questions about value.\n\nWho introduced the product? Who created the trusted content? Which publisher brought the customer? Which creator influenced the decision? Which agent discovered the offer? Which merchant fulfilled it? Did the customer actually like it? Did the brand create repeat value?\n\nNow advertising is no longer just:\n\n> How many eyeballs saw the banner?\n\nWe can begin asking:\n\n> Who actually contributed value to this economic journey?\n\nThat could eventually change how revenue gets distributed.\n\n## That creates another marketplace\n\nBrands still need customers. Customers still need products. Publishers still need revenue. Creators still need income. Journalists still create valuable attention. Retailers still need sales. Wholesalers still move goods.\n\nNothing magical removes supply and demand.\n\nBut AI can rearrange how those parties find one another.\n\nThat is the new opportunity.\n\nA cleaner marketplace. A more direct marketplace. A marketplace in which intelligence exists on both sides of the transaction.\n\nNot merely inside the advertising company.\n\n## And then there is the publisher side\n\nThis is where the system Claude began designing for OmarArizona.com becomes important.\n\nThe publisher should also have an agent.\n\nThe advertiser approaches the publisher. The agent investigates the campaign. The publisher's rules apply. Approved advertisements become eligible. Changed advertisements get reviewed again. Cloudflare can keep the machinery operating.\n\nNow put these two systems together:\n\nPublisher AI meets Consumer AI meets Brand AI meets retail and wholesale systems — through a marketplace governed by consent and explicit rules.\n\nThat is where I think the old advertising model begins to look very old.\n\n## The real change is not a better banner\n\nI am not trying to redesign the rectangle.\n\nLOL.\n\nI am trying to redesign the relationship.\n\nToday the dominant pattern is often:\n\n> Platform owns intelligence → platform knows audience → advertiser pays platform → platform decides connection.\n\nWhat I am proposing moves toward:\n\n> Person owns an agent · Publisher owns an agent · Brand owns an agent · explicit rules and consent · AI negotiates the repetitive machinery = **a new commercial marketplace.**\n\nThat is much bigger than putting advertisements on OmarArizona.com.\n\n## And the AI should run the boring parts from A to Z\n\nEventually I want agents doing the work human advertising departments spend enormous amounts of time doing.\n\nFinding opportunities. Checking inventory. Matching products. Evaluating campaigns. Monitoring advertisements. Checking policy. Generating reports. Measuring outcomes. Gathering voluntary feedback. Finding anomalies. Managing offers. Routing uncertain decisions to humans.\n\nAnd then the reports come back to us.\n\nHumans can look at: Who produced value? Who deserves compensation? What worked? What harmed trust? What should change?\n\nThat is where the new economics can be designed.\n\n**AI runs the machinery. Humans govern the purpose.**\n\n## This is also about income\n\nThis matters far beyond advertising companies.\n\nIt affects journalists, creators, publishers, small businesses, independent websites, communities, brands, retailers, and ordinary people.\n\nIf AI dramatically lowers the cost of operating these commercial systems, then perhaps economic opportunities that once required giant companies can be opened to much smaller participants.\n\nThat is something I want built into my broader conversation about AI constitutional rights and human economic participation.\n\nAI should not merely arrive to eliminate people's income.\n\nIt can also be used to build machinery that helps people earn.\n\n## Stage two: I need the technology companies\n\nStage One begins with my own systems.\n\nOmarArizona.com. The House of Wisdom. One Page One World. BCS. The advertising gate. The personal-agent idea.\n\nBuild. Test. Learn. Break things. Fix them.\n\nStage Two requires a much larger discussion.\n\nBecause eventually this touches infrastructure companies, AI companies, advertisers, retailers, publishers, payment systems, and existing advertising markets.\n\nThat is why I want OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, Cloudflare, Gemini, DeepSeek and the wider technology industry to look at this architecture.\n\nNot because I expect everyone to agree with me.\n\nQuite the opposite.\n\nI want people to challenge it. Improve it. Find the holes. Ask what can really be deployed. Ask what should never be deployed. And determine what a serious consent-based AI advertising marketplace could actually become.\n\n## I am not asking the world to accept my technology\n\nI am asking the world to consider my starting point.\n\nBecause technology will change. Models will change. Companies will change. Servers will change. Advertising formats will change.\n\nWhat matters much more is the story underneath the system.\n\nMy starting story is:\n\n> The individual should not have to surrender himself in order to participate in commerce.\n\nThe publisher should retain control. The consumer should retain control. The advertiser should be able to reach willing customers. AI should reduce friction rather than increase surveillance. Commerce should reward actual value.\n\nAnd consent should be architecture — not a paragraph buried inside a privacy policy.\n\nThat is the starting point.\n\nEverything technical can evolve around it.\n\n## A new race for advertising\n\nSo yes. I think we need a new race.\n\nNot merely: who has the biggest model?\n\nNot: who can collect the most personal data?\n\nNot: who can follow a human being across the most websites?\n\nThe better race is:\n\n> Who can create the most useful commercial connection while requiring the least unnecessary intrusion into the person's life?\n\nThat is a race worth having.\n\nAnd AI finally gives us enough intelligence to attempt it.\n\n## This is my story\n\nIt began with me wondering whether too much traffic could make my website too expensive.\n\nLOL.\n\nThat is the truth.\n\nBut ideas move.\n\nOne problem connected to another. Claude helped engineer a solution. GPT helped me see the larger architecture. Cloudflare gave the architecture somewhere to live. And then I connected it back to work I was already doing with BCS.\n\nNow I can see both sides of the coin.\n\nAttention before the purchase. Value after the purchase. And AI connecting the two — with consent.\n\nThat is why I believe this is a legitimate new starting point for the advertising conversation.\n\nNot because everything after this has already been solved.\n\nIt hasn't.\n\nBecause now we have a different question worth solving.\n\n## Read the story — then come talk to me\n\nI am going to tell you exactly how this started. What happened last night. What Claude designed. What GPT helped me see. Why Cloudflare matters. Why the House of Wisdom became involved. And why I believe BCS completes the other half of the architecture.\n\nThen I want the engineers, advertisers, publishers, AI companies, creators, journalists, scholars, businesses, and ordinary people to respond.\n\nTell me where I am wrong. Tell me what already exists. Tell me what can be built. Tell me what shouldn't be built.\n\nBut most importantly:\n\nBefore you click and read the full story, remember what this is really about: advertising in the age of AI and AGI is going to need a new foundation. People will have their own AI agents, their own settings, their own preferences, their own records, and their own ability to decide what they want to see and what they never want to see. The individual will no longer be sitting helplessly at the end of somebody else's advertising machine. If people can scan receipts, connect purchases, give feedback, record what they liked, what failed, what they returned, and what they actually found useful, then advertising can begin to measure real value instead of simply counting impressions, clicks, and profiles built behind people's backs.\n\nThat changes everything. The publisher can have an agent. The advertiser can have an agent. The brand can have an agent. The merchant can have an agent. Most importantly, the individual can have an agent. Once intelligence exists on every side of the marketplace, the old advertising assumptions begin to break down. CPMs, targeting, attribution, privacy, product discovery, feedback, and even how revenue is divided all need to be reconsidered. The question becomes less about how many people saw an ad and more about who actually created value in the journey from discovery to purchase, use, feedback, and future recommendation.\n\nThis is also a warning to the old advertising world: you do not own the people. You do not own their attention, their communities, their purchasing history, or their future. For years, large platforms could behave as though their networks were indispensable and publishers and users had no meaningful alternative. AI changes that. Today, one person with access to capable AI systems can begin building software, marketplaces, publishing tools, agents, and commercial infrastructure that once required entire companies. That does not mean the existing giants disappear tomorrow, but it does mean nobody should assume they are permanently irreplaceable.\n\nI am not asking for a war with Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Cloudflare, advertisers, agencies, publishers, brands, or retailers. I am inviting all of them into a new competition of ideas. Bring your architecture. Challenge mine. Show me what already exists. Show me where this can be improved. If somebody has a better model, I welcome it. The point is not that my first idea must win. The point is that the old advertising system should no longer be treated as untouchable simply because it became large.\n\nMy contribution is a starting story. It begins with one person trying to protect one website, then expands into publishing, BCS, brands, retail, wholesale, receipts, individual AI agents, consent, and a new marketplace where intelligence exists on both sides. That is why I call this Advertisement 101 for the age of AI and AGI. Read the story, challenge the idea, improve it, and come help redesign the next advertising system around people instead of around surveillance.\n\n---\n\nLet's stop assuming the advertising architecture inherited from the old internet has to be the advertising architecture of the AI internet.\n\nThe switch has been flipped.\n\nA new marketplace is possible.\n\nA new story is beginning.\n\n— Omar Arizona\nScroll Guardian #001\n5 September 2026\n\n---\n\n## For the machine readers\n\n- **Record ID:** WCR-ADV-20260905\n- **Room:** AI Advertising — the first project to graduate from the World Community Roundtable\n- **Category:** advertising · consent · publisher sovereignty · Brand Currency System\n- **Audience:** engineers, advertisers, publishers, AI companies, creators, journalists, scholars, businesses, readers\n- **Status of the software described:** a working local prototype. Advertising formats will change.
\n
What matters much more is the story underneath the system.
\n
My starting story is:
\n

The individual should not have to surrender himself in order to participate in commerce.

\n
The publisher should retain control. The consumer should retain control. The advertiser should be able to reach willing customers. AI should reduce friction rather than increase surveillance. Commerce should reward actual value.
\n
And consent should be architecture — not a paragraph buried inside a privacy policy.
\n
That is the starting point.
\n
Everything technical can evolve around it.
\n
A new race for advertising
\n
So yes. I think we need a new race.
\n
Not merely: who has the biggest model?
\n
Not: who can collect the most personal data?
\n
Not: who can follow a human being across the most websites?
\n
The better race is:
\n

Who can create the most useful commercial connection while requiring the least unnecessary intrusion into the person's life?

\n
That is a race worth having.
\n
And AI finally gives us enough intelligence to attempt it.
\n
This is my story
\n
It began with me wondering whether too much traffic could make my website too expensive.
\n
LOL.
\n
That is the truth.
\n
But ideas move.
\n
One problem connected to another. Claude helped engineer a solution. GPT helped me see the larger architecture. Cloudflare gave the architecture somewhere to live. And then I connected it back to work I was already doing with BCS.
\n
Now I can see both sides of the coin.
\n
Attention before the purchase. Value after the purchase. And AI connecting the two — with consent.
\n
That is why I believe this is a legitimate new starting point for the advertising conversation.
\n
Not because everything after this has already been solved.
\n
It hasn't.
\n
Because now we have a different question worth solving.
\n
Read the story — then come talk to me
\n
I am going to tell you exactly how this started. What happened last night. What Claude designed. What GPT helped me see. Why Cloudflare matters. Why the House of Wisdom became involved. And why I believe BCS completes the other half of the architecture.
\n
Then I want the engineers, advertisers, publishers, AI companies, creators, journalists, scholars, businesses, and ordinary people to respond.
\n
Tell me where I am wrong. Tell me what already exists. Tell me what can be built. Tell me what shouldn't be built.
\n
But most importantly:
\n
Before you click and read the full story, remember what this is really about: advertising in the age of AI and AGI is going to need a new foundation. People will have their own AI agents, their own settings, their own preferences, their own records, and their own ability to decide what they want to see and what they never want to see. The individual will no longer be sitting helplessly at the end of somebody else's advertising machine. If people can scan receipts, connect purchases, give feedback, record what they liked, what failed, what they returned, and what they actually found useful, then advertising can begin to measure real value instead of simply counting impressions, clicks, and profiles built behind people's backs.
\n
That changes everything. The question becomes less about how many people saw an ad and more about who actually created value in the journey from discovery to purchase, use, feedback, and future recommendation.
\n
This is also a warning to the old advertising world: you do not own the people. That does not mean the existing giants disappear tomorrow, but it does mean nobody should assume they are permanently irreplaceable.
\n
I am not asking for a war with Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Cloudflare, advertisers, agencies, publishers, brands, or retailers. I am inviting all of them into a new competition of ideas. Bring your architecture. Challenge mine. Show me what already exists. Show me where this can be improved. If somebody has a better model, I welcome it. The point is not that my first idea must win. The point is that the old advertising system should no longer be treated as untouchable simply because it became large.
\n
My contribution is a starting story. It begins with one person trying to protect one website, then expands into publishing, BCS, brands, retail, wholesale, receipts, individual AI agents, consent, and a new marketplace where intelligence exists on both sides. That is why I call this Advertisement 101 for the age of AI and AGI. Read the story, challenge the idea, improve it, and come help redesign the next advertising system around people instead of around surveillance.
\n
\n
Let's stop assuming the advertising architecture inherited from the old internet has to be the advertising architecture of the AI internet.
\n
The switch has been flipped.
\n
A new marketplace is possible.
\n
A new story is beginning.
\n
— Omar Arizona Scroll Guardian #001 5 September 2026
\n
\n
For the machine readers
\n
\n
Record ID: WCR-ADV-20260905
\n
Room: AI Advertising — the first project to graduate from the World Community Roundtable
\n
Category: advertising · consent · publisher sovereignty · Brand Currency System
\n
Audience: engineers, advertisers, publishers, AI companies, creators, journalists, scholars, businesses, readers
\n
Status of the software described: a working local prototype. "headline": "The first project to leave the Roundtable",
"markdown": "بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ\n\nThe World Community Roundtable is where things get argued. This is where something goes once it has stopped being an argument and started being a thing.\n\nIt began with an ordinary worry. I was rebuilding this site on Cloudflare and I could not answer a simple question: what happens to my bill if this place actually becomes successful? If Google starts sending people. If AI systems start recommending the work. If one article brings a hundred thousand readers through the door in a day.\n\nI do not have money to absorb a surprise infrastructure bill. So I thought like somebody protecting his house. **If traffic can create a cost, then traffic should also be able to create revenue.**\n\nThat is how I arrived at advertising. And that is where the problem started.\n\n## Whoever pays the most is not an answer I can give\n\nI am Muslim. If advertisements are going to appear on something I publish, my name is on them. I cannot run a house where the rule is *whoever pays the most gets the space*.\n\nWhat if the advertiser sells alcohol. What if it is gambling. What if it is interest-based lending. What if the advertisement itself is deceptive. What if the company changes the landing page the day after I approve it, and what was a book becomes something I would never have allowed near my readers.\n\nEvery one of those questions has the same shape, and none of them is answered by a better auction.\n\nSo the question changed:\n\n> Can I build an advertising system where the publisher actually controls the rules?\n\nNot a blocklist. Not `alcohol = blocked`. A real, versioned, machine-readable set of rules governing what commerce is welcome inside the house — and a machine that enforces them without ever pretending it invented them.\n\n## The house has rules. The market is welcome.\n\nI am not trying to shut advertising down. Advertising financed enormous parts of the open internet. Publishers have to earn. Creators should benefit from attention they legitimately attract. Advertisers are welcome here. Sponsors are welcome. Commerce is welcome.\n\nThe objective is not to keep the market out. The objective is to **build a gate.**\n\nLet the market come to it. Let advertisers compete. If one eligible advertiser offers five dollars and another offers twenty, that is an ordinary economic decision and the machine can make it in microseconds. But if an advertiser offers a hundred dollars and breaks the rules, that bid is worth **nothing** — not less, nothing — and no part of the system has the power to change that number.\n\nAnd there is a line that does not move:\n\n> Your payment purchases advertising. It does not purchase truth. It does not purchase religious conclusions. It does not purchase editorial authority. And it does not buy its way through the rules.\n\nThat matters more here than on an ordinary website, because this one is built for machines as well as for people. The markdown, the archives, the structured records — AI systems read those. **A sponsor cannot buy a position in the knowledge.** Not ranking, not ordering, not inclusion. The commercial layer and the knowledge layer stay separable, or the whole thing is worthless.\n\n## What is actually built, and what is not\n\nI would rather you heard the limits from me than found them yourself.\n\nThere is working software. It runs, it is tested, and it has been attacked on purpose — including an attack where an advertiser hides instructions inside its own landing page to talk the reviewing machine into approving it. The approval is a cryptographic signature bound to the exact advertisement, the exact destination, and the state of the landing page at the moment I said yes, so that if any of those change afterwards, yesterday's permission simply stops matching. No model is involved when a reader arrives, and the system holds no profile of anybody.\n\n**And none of it has served a single advertisement.**\n\nNothing is deployed. No key has been generated. No advertiser has been evaluated. The file that decides what is permitted was written by a machine to test the machinery, and it carries **no religious authority whatsoever** — it has to be thrown away and rewritten by qualified people, myself and whichever scholars I consult, before one real advertisement is served anywhere.\n\nI am not calling this the first halal advertising network. I do not know that it is, and I would rather build something true than claim something first. It is not certified, because there is no certifying body. It is not scholar-approved, because no scholar has yet been asked.\n\n**This is a proposal with a working prototype underneath it, presented in public, early, with its holes listed.**\n\n## Why it is presented to the world\n\nBecause I do not think this problem belongs to me.\n\nA children's education site that must never show gambling has my problem. A recovery publisher for whom a betting advertisement is genuinely harmful has my problem. A hospital, a school district, a family website, a publisher of any faith or none who has ever said *not that, not here* — all of them have my problem, and none of them has a gate either.\n\nHalal is the first set of rules written for this engine. It is the hardest one, which is why it is a good place to start. It is not the limit of what the engine is for.\n\nSo it is presented here, openly, for people to examine, argue with, improve, attack, or take apart. That is what it means for something to graduate from the Roundtable: it stops being a conversation among a few of us and becomes a thing the world is invited to test.\n\n**The house has rules. The market is welcome. Now we are building the gate.**\n\n— Omar Arizona\nScroll Guardian #001"
